Maplewood Dickens Village is a festive gift from the business community to the local residents and visitors. Horse-drawn carriage rides, carolers, concerts, refreshments, children’s activities, special shopping nights – all help our town to be one of the best places to live in New Jersey. This treasured community tradition opens in December and runs every weekend until Christmas.
(NOTE: THE 2011 BREAKFAST WITH SANTA IS SOLD OUT; UNFORTUNATELY NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT DOOR)

A special addition has been made to our schedule: A holiday concert by the Maplewood Community Music Swing Town and Concert Band on Saturday, December 17 at 2 PM, Burgdorff Center

Two New Holiday Traditions
In 2009 a new tradition was added – an annual commemorative holiday ornament. The 2011 ornament is a pewter replica of Scrooge’s House and will be sold in Village shops and at Dickens Village.
SOLD OUT – NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT DOOR. Breakfast with Santa was a huge hit in 2010 so it will be back again in 2011. Guests enjoy a continental breakfast, seasonal music, photo op with Santa and gifts for the kids. More info here: Breakfast with Santa

Our kids have loved this charming, festive event for the last couple of years, especially the horse draw carriage rides! It seems to get better and better each year. Is there an easy way to contribute (like via a credit card) so that we can help Dickens Village continue in it’s quality tradition?
