Maplewood village

With its small-town feel and creative vibe, Maplewood Village is a one-of-a-kind destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Nestled between charming residential neighborhoods and Maplewood Memorial Park, the Village is a walkable delight of eclectic shops and eateries. The vibrant energy of the Village is enhanced by live music, performances, events, and festivals throughout the year. Throughout our half-mile of merchants and businesses, you’ll find energy, engagement, and passion for ensuring a wonderful and unique experience. We truly are a Small Wonder!

THE MAPLEWOOD VILLAGE ALLIANCE

The Maplewood Village Alliance (MVA) is the District Management Corporation of the Maplewood Village Special Improvement District, a self-governed entity that funds itself primarily by a special tax assessment on commercial properties within the improvement district. The MVA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation governed by a board of trustees comprised of merchants, property owners, and residents dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and enhancement of Maplewood Village.

Our goal is to create a welcoming, interesting, and engaging experience for visitors, provide a favorable environment for businesses in which to thrive, and preserve the character and history of the Village.

In doing so, we manage large scope economic projects and environmentally sustainable improvements, undertake beautification projects and improvements, and produce and promote events and programs in the downtown Village business district. The MVA also performs a variety of supplemental services such as cleaning sidewalks, maintaining an online business directory, and managing façade renovation projects for our local businesses. Our primary goal is to maintain and foster a thriving environment for both local businesses and the community, ensuring that Maplewood Village remains a true thriving destination whilst maintaining its history and charm.
