THE MAPLEWOOD VILLAGE ALLIANCE
The Maplewood Village Alliance is the District Management Corporation of the Maplewood Village Special Improvement District, a self-governed entity that funds itself primarily by a special tax assessment on commercial properties within the improvement district. The Alliance is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation governed by a board of trustees comprised of merchants, property owners, and residents dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and enhancement of Maplewood Village.
Our goal is to create a welcoming, interesting, and engaging experience for visitors, provide a favorable environment for businesses to thrive, and preserve the character of the Village.
We produce and promote events and programs in the downtown Village business district, undertake beautification projects and improvements, perform a variety of supplemental services such as cleaning sidewalks, maintain an online business directory, and assist with façade renovation projects. These efforts promote Maplewood Village as a destination and welcome the community to the Village in order to create a favorable environment for our local businesses.
