Join Durand-Hedden for “Piece by Piece: Quilting Through the Pandemic”
Meg Cox, author and expert on quilting, to speak at The Woodland, Sunday, May 15, at 1pm

Like quilters of the past, local quilters found solace and motivation during the pandemic. Come to The Woodland Parlor at 1 pm on Sunday, May 15, to hear Meg Cox, an author and expert on quilting and family traditions, explore the art of quilting and how this historical craft has blossomed in the past two years.

Did you create a quilt during the Pandemic?  If you want to bring your own quilt to share at 2 pm, please send an email request to patinkac@gmail.com.  Include “Quilt Sharing” in the subject line. At 3 pm, visit Durand-Hedden House to view an exhibit of antique quilts and visit the Country Store.

Durand-Hedden is pleased to work in cooperation with the Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture to bring you this event. For complete details visit us online at DurandHedden.org or on our Facebook event page. If you visit us on Facebook, please be sure to RSVP to help us get the word out!
